Youth dialogues and initiatives – Voice of change

Within the “Voice of Change” project series of youth dialogues and initiatives were organized on local levels to promote the importance of public advocacy and create more space for girls’ and women’s voices. Youth dialogues with decision makers took place both locally and nationally, targeting youth activists, volunteers, and other young people interested in public advocacy. These sessions were focused on the thematic areas of the project and included broader topics through the involvement of relevant stakeholders such as representatives from different ministries and governmental institutions. Round table discussions and lectures were also held at higher educational and institutional levels, bringing together local stakeholders and experts to address gender-based discrimination and violence. During these events, key messages were shared with the public and governmental institutions, emphasizing the need for greater support and recognition. Public debates were conducted on local and national levels, engaging young people passionate about debate, public speaking, and the project’s themes. Hate Fighters Network (Serbia) in cooperation with Impact Circles (Germany), Beyond Borders Italy (Italy), Asociatia Tineret pentru Dezvoltare Durabila (Romania) and Barcel’hona Sports Events (Spain) implements “Voice of Change – Gender perspective in policy frameworks” project in order to promote gender equality in partner countries and to develop long-term methodology for advocacy campaign for elimination of gender-based discrimination and violence through policy and legal frameworks. The project focuses on preparing young people to be active members of society, developing an overview of existing gender-related legal frameworks and building bridges between active youth and decision and policy makers through public advocacy. Period of project implementation: 01.11.2023 – 31.10.2025. Project is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus + European Youth Together.
