Aftermovie of training for “Counter and Alternative narratives as a respond to Fake News and Hate Speech in media” Hate Fighters Network (HNF) implements HFN Work Plan 2021 in cooperation with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) – Serbia, Red Cross Novo Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Beyond Borders – Italy, SPPMD – North Macedonia, Perspektiva – Albania, Hellenic Youth Participation – Greece, Impress – Croatia and Youth Work Association – Turkey. Main aim of HFN Work Plan 2021 is to strengthen the role of young people in peace-building activities and combat against fake news and hate speech in media. 3 main activities of HFN Work Plan 2021 are: 1) Training for “Counter and Alternative narratives as a respond to Fake News and Hate Speech in media”, 2) Local trainings and We Can campaign and 3) HFN 2021 – final conference.
Project will increase the competences of young people in the use of counter and alternative narratives to combat fake news and hate speech through methodology of We Can! Manual and creation of the creative tools as counter narratives.
Project is implemented in the period August / December 2021 and is supported by European Youth Foundation, Council of Europe.

Creative narratives – Power To Change
Counter and alternative narratives created on training 2 of the project “Power to Change” organised in June 2021 in Corfu, Greece. Project “Power to Change” is implemented by Hate Fighters Network from Serbia in cooperation with Udruga Impress Daruvar from Croatia, IDA Network from Bulgaria, Organisation for Strategic Development in Africa (OSDA) from Ghana, Beyond Borders from Italy, SPPMD from North Macedonia, Círculo Raíces Sardas from Argentina and Hellenic Youth Participation (HYP) from Greece . Hate Fighters Network would like to increase the skills and knowledge of the youth workers of consortium organisations at two levels: the use of different creative methods in youth work and the use of counter and alternative narratives as a tool to combat hate speech in the work with young people. Main aim: To increase the number of peace-building and combat against hate speech activities in Europe, Latin America and Africa and develop a pool of youth workers competent in this field. Project includes series of mobility activities and capacity building activities. Project will be implemented from 01.11.2019 – 30.04.2021 in 8 countries in Europe, Africa and Latin America – Argentina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Ghana, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia and Serbia.

Hate Fighters Network (HFN)- Serbia implements “EU Youth Zone” project in cooperation with Beyond Borders – Italy, 4C – Greece, Youth Center Perspektiva – Albania, Mano Europa – Lithuania, Red Cross Novo Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina and Council for prevention of juvenile delinquency (SPPMD)– North Macedonia. “EU Youth Zone” takes a multilevel approach to activate young people to use their voices and express their views and opinions on the EU, to understand European citizenship and Euroscepticism and develop ideas for future Europe, especially in the light of Covid-19 pandemic. The activities will include research, debates as well as the development of quiz on the EU as a mobile phone application. Activities will be implemented in Serbia, Italy, Greece, Albania, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia. Project is implemented with the support of the Europe for Citizens programme of the European Union.
