European Youth Week 2024

European Youth Week 2024 ( https://youth.europa.eu/youthweek_en ) is an event organized by the European Commission every second year to celebrate and promote youth engagement, participation, and active citizenship all over Europe and beyond. 🌍
 
It will be organized from 12 – 19 April 2024. 🎉
 
As European Youth Week 2024 approaches, we present to you an EU Actions for Youth youth-friendly document, through which you can read about various opportunities for youth provided through EU programs. The most recognizable program is for sure Erasmus + program. What is it that this program provides for young people? 📚

• Activities on raising the awareness on EU Youth Strategy 2019 – 2027, European Youth Goals and Youth mainstreaming on policy level including: Development EU Youth Strategy 2019 – 2027 in a form of youth friendly document; Events with young people on EU Youth Strategy 2019 – 2027; Events with stakeholders on EU Youth Strategy 2019 – 2027; Social media campaign on EU Youth Strategy 2019 – 2027; Marking of 2023 European Year of Skills
 
• Activities related to engagement, connection and empowerment of young people including Events for young people on EU values, EU and combating Euroscepticism through mobile game “EU Youth Zone”; Development of new methodologies in youth work; Social media campaign on combat against fake news and promotion of medial literacy.
 
• Activities related to youth participation in EU Actions including Events for promotion of EU Actions for young people; Regular service of HFN Secretariat for providing information on mobility opportunities for young people; Establishment of Youth Zone Mentorship program; Conference on EU Action for young people.

Voice Of Change – Training

We present to you photos and video from the TC1 organized in Corato, Italy within the project “Voice of Change – Gender perspective in policy frameworks”.

Hate Fighters Network (Serbia) in cooperation with Impact Circles (Germany), Beyond Borders Italy (Italy), Asociatia Tineret pentru Dezvoltare Durabila (Romania) and Barcel’hona Sports Events (Spain) implements “Voice of Change – Gender perspective in policy frameworks” project in order to promote gender equality in partner countries and to develop long-term methodology for advocacy campaign for elimination of gender-based discrimination and violence through policy and legal frameworks. The project focuses on preparing young people to be active members of society, developing an overview of existing gender-related legal frameworks and building bridges between active youth and decision and policy makers through public advocacy. Period of project implementation: 01.11.2023 – 31.10.2025.

Project is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus + European Youth Together.
